Miami airports
Miami International (MIA)
One of the largest international gateways in the country, with a single terminal building divided into three concourse groups that function as separate airports for pickup purposes. Latin American arrivals bunch heavily and customs at MIA can run long, so we hold through rather than starting a clock. The arrivals roadway is genuinely difficult at peak, which is why we meet inside rather than at the kerb.
North, Central & South · Customs hold · Meet & greet
Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood (FLL)
Half an hour up the coast and frequently the better airport for anyone staying in Aventura, Hollywood or Fort Lauderdale itself. FLL’s four terminals are compact and the arrivals level is far easier to work than Miami’s. For anything in north Miami-Dade or Broward the choice is usually obvious once the ground time is counted properly, and we will say so.
Four terminals · Broward advantage · Simpler arrivals
Private aviation
South Florida carries one of the heaviest concentrations of private traffic in the country. Opa-locka handles much of the Miami-side movement, Fort Lauderdale Executive serves Broward, and Miami Executive covers the south. Which field suits you is a question of where you are staying rather than what you are flying. For private arrivals we work from the tail number and coordinate with the FBO directly. Tell us the field and the FBO when you book and we will confirm coverage before you travel.

Where we work in Miami
Brickell & Downtown
A side-street pickup beats the avenue. Brickell’s towers have defined pickup points, which helps, but the avenue itself is congested through most of the day and a side-street pickup moves considerably better. Downtown adds the courts and the arena, the latter closing streets on event nights.
Miami Beach & South Beach
The causeway is the journey. Everything to and from the beach crosses a causeway, and the causeway is the journey — there is no alternative routing when one backs up.
Coral Gables & Coconut Grove
Close to MIA, with slow but predictable streets. Coral Gables carries a substantial share of the region’s professional services and international corporate presence, and sits closer to MIA than almost anywhere else of consequence. Its tree-lined streets and roundabouts are slow but predictable.
Aventura, Sunny Isles & north Miami-Dade
Fort Lauderdale is often the better airport from here. The northern corridor along Biscayne Boulevard and the Intracoastal, with heavy residential and corporate presence and a genuine pull towards Fort Lauderdale rather than Miami for flights.
Events, seasons and the Keys
Event weeks need vehicles positioned in advance. Art Basel, the boat shows, the tennis and the race weeks each reshape South Florida traffic for their duration, and vehicles need to be positioned in advance rather than dispatched on demand. We plan event work as a single operation.
Typical journey times across South Florida
South Florida’s traffic is seasonal in a way few American markets are. From roughly December to April the same journey takes materially longer, and during the larger events it stops resembling a normal city altogether.

Hotels, venues and campuses we run to
Hotel transfers in Miami
South Beach hotel entrances vary enormously in how workable they are for a vehicle, and Ocean Drive and Collins are frequently impossible in the evening. We agree a specific pickup point rather than the hotel name.
Events & venues in Miami
During Art Basel and the boat shows the causeways run at capacity in both directions and vehicles have to be positioned on the correct side of the water in advance. We plan those weeks as an operation rather than a set of bookings.
Palm Beach, Naples and the Keys are long-distance runs quoted per trip and are better as a day hire. The single road through the Keys has no alternative if it closes, so we allow for that rather than assuming a clear run.

Universities & campuses in Miami
The Health District north-west of downtown is several large institutions sharing one access road, and it queues badly at shift change. Coral Gables is the closest district to the university and to MIA, which makes combined days straightforward there.
