The same requirements in every city
Executive Black Car books and manages your ride. A vetted, independent chauffeur operator in each city drives it. This page sets out what we require of those operators before they carry a single booking, and how we keep checking.

What every operator must have
Licensing
- An active business and every operating licence or permit required in their city and at the airports they serve
- Vehicles registered for commercial passenger service where local rules require it
Insurance
- Commercial auto liability of at least $1,000,000 combined single limit, or more where local or airport rules require it
- Workers’ compensation where the law requires it
- A current certificate of insurance on file with us, renewed when the policy renews
Chauffeurs
- The driver licence and chauffeur permit their city requires
- Criminal-background and driving-record checks as required by local law and airport authorities
- A drug- and alcohol-free policy, hands-free phone use only, and compliance with driving-hour rules
- Professional dress, discretion and knowledge of the local area
Vehicles
- Late-model executive sedans and SUVs in the class you booked, or better
- Maintained to the manufacturer’s schedule, with current inspections where required
- Clean inside and out, and non-smoking

How we check
A standard only means something if it is checked. Every operator we work with is reviewed before their first booking, asked to keep their documents current, and removed from our network if they stop meeting these requirements.
- Before the first booking We review licences, permits and the insurance certificate, and the operator signs our operator agreement.
- On every booking Your chauffeur’s name, vehicle and contact details are confirmed before pickup.
- As documents expire We ask for renewed insurance certificates and permits.
- After feedback Complaints are reviewed with the operator. Operators who fall short are suspended or removed.
Your privacy
Operators receive only what they need to carry out your trip: passenger name, pickup and drop-off, timing, flight number and any special requests. They may not use it for anything else. See our Privacy Policy.
Accessibility and child seats
Tell us when you book if you need a wheelchair-accessible vehicle, a child seat or a booster seat. Availability varies by city; we confirm what can be provided before your booking is confirmed.
Questions
Who actually drives me?
A professional chauffeur employed or contracted by an independent, locally licensed operator that we have approved to carry Executive Black Car bookings. Executive Black Car arranges, manages and invoices the booking; the operator provides the vehicle and chauffeur and is responsible for operating the trip.
Are operators insured?
Yes. Before an operator can carry our bookings we require a current certificate of commercial auto liability insurance of at least $1,000,000 combined single limit, or more where local or airport rules require it, and we ask for renewed certificates when policies expire.
Are chauffeurs background-checked?
We require operators to confirm that every chauffeur assigned to our bookings holds the licence or permit required for their city and has passed the criminal-background and driving-record checks that local law and airport authorities require.
What if my chauffeur is late or doesn’t arrive?
Call our 24/7 desk. We contact the operator immediately and, where a delay cannot be resolved, work to arrange an alternative vehicle. Our Terms explain how refunds and credits apply.
How do I raise a safety concern?
Call 1-866-EXEC230 at any hour or email info@execblackcars.com. We review every safety concern, share it with the operator involved, and suspend or remove operators where the concern is upheld. In an emergency, call 911 first.
These standards describe the requirements Executive Black Car places on the independent operators who carry its bookings and the checks we carry out. Operators are independent businesses, responsible for their vehicles, chauffeurs and compliance with the law. These standards are not a warranty of any particular outcome; every booking is governed by our Terms & Conditions. Executive Black Car is a trade name of Karfis Enterprises LLC.
