The Los Angeles venues we run to
Getting to a Los Angeles venue is rarely the problem. Leaving one, with seventy thousand other people and one road out, is the whole job. The venues here empty onto roads that were full before the event began, and two of them — SoFi and the Hollywood Bowl — are among the worst departures in the country. We do not queue at the gates. We agree a collection point clear of the venue, stage there before the end and tell you exactly where to walk. It is reliably faster than being collected at the door and very much less frustrating.
Studios, arenas and venues. Event and studio work runs to its own clock. Studio calls start early and finish late, and arena nights close streets downtown rather than merely slowing them.
Culture, dining and the region. Evening and weekend work runs to the museums, the canyon restaurants and out of the basin entirely. These are day hires more often than transfers.
SoFi Stadium
Inglewood
Enormous, new and served by a road network that has not caught up with it. A full house leaving at once is the single largest vehicle movement in the region and the approach roads simply cannot absorb it. We collect from an agreed point well clear of the site and walk you the last stretch, which on a sold-out night saves the better part of an hour.
Crypto.com Arena
Downtown
At the centre of the LA Live complex, where an arena night and a convention day can coincide and close streets rather than merely slow them. Access is better than at SoFi but the surrounding blocks are constrained. We work from north or east of the complex depending on which event is running.
Hollywood Bowl
Hollywood Hills
In a canyon with one road in and the same road out, and a crowd that leaves in a single wave when the music stops. Stacked parking means many cars cannot move until others do. We never attempt the lot; we hold on Highland below the venue and you walk down, which is genuinely quicker than waiting.
Dodger Stadium
Elysian Park
On a hill in Chavez Ravine with a small number of gates and a long exit queue that forms before the ninth inning. Leaving early is the local solution and not always an acceptable one. We stage outside the park and meet on Sunset rather than inside the lots.
Los Angeles Convention Center
Downtown
Adjacent to the arena complex and sharing its approaches, so a show and a game on the same day compound each other. During the largest conventions the surrounding streets carry far more than they were built for. We time pickups against the hall closing rather than the session.
Walt Disney Concert Hall
Downtown
On Grand Avenue on Bunker Hill, with a steep approach and a garage entrance that is not obvious from the street. Performances end close together with the Music Center next door, producing one combined departure. We work from the level below rather than Grand itself.
The Greek Theatre
Los Feliz
In Griffith Park with a single access road through a residential neighbourhood and a strict stacked-parking system. The constraints here are real and enforced. We collect on Vermont below the park, which turns a forty-minute wait into a ten-minute walk.
Paramount Studios
Hollywood
A working lot on Melrose with gate security and a visitor process that takes time. The gate you are cleared for is the one you must use, and it is frequently not the one nearest your building. We confirm gate and building before the day, every time.
Warner Bros. Studios
Burbank
A large lot in Burbank with several gates serving different parts of the site, and a drive-on process that needs a name on a list rather than a good explanation at the barrier. Minutes from Burbank airport, which makes a same-day fly-in and shoot genuinely practical.
Sony Pictures Studios
Culver City
In Culver City, closer to LAX than the Hollywood lots and easier to reach from the Westside. Gate access is straightforward by studio standards. Culver City traffic at the end of the working day is the real constraint rather than the lot itself.
Getting to the Los Angeles venues
Door to venue, ordinary conditions. The right-hand column means an event night rather than a rush hour, which around SoFi and the Bowl is considerably the worse of the two.
| Route | Approx. distance | Off-peak | Allow on an event night |
|---|---|---|---|
| Beverly Hills to SoFi Stadium | 13 miles | 25–35 min | 60–90 min |
| Downtown to Crypto.com Arena | 1 mile | 5–10 min | 20–35 min |
| Beverly Hills to the Hollywood Bowl | 8 miles | 20–25 min | 45–70 min |
| Downtown to Dodger Stadium | 3 miles | 10–15 min | 35–55 min |
| Santa Monica to Sony Studios | 7 miles | 15–25 min | 35–50 min |
How Los Angeles event work is priced
Event transfers are quoted per route, and event nights are almost always better booked hourly — a show does not end to a timetable and a vehicle released at the start of the evening has to be found again at the worst possible moment. All of it is quoted per route and confirmed in writing before you travel, with no surge pricing at any hour.
For a group or a corporate hospitality night we plan the departure as one staged movement rather than a set of separate bookings, and give you a single point of contact on the night rather than several drivers to chase.
