How the Los Angeles day is built
Three meetings across this city is not three transfers. It is one vehicle, one chauffeur and a plan that assumes the second one overruns. Almost all of our Los Angeles corporate work is hourly rather than point to point, because a day here rarely holds to its shape. A Century City morning and a Downtown afternoon are separated by a journey that takes twenty-five minutes or seventy depending on when you leave. A vehicle released after each stop has to be found again in exactly that traffic. A vehicle held nearby is simply there.
Hourly hire, not a chain of transfers
The spread between a good run and a bad one across this city is wider than anywhere else we operate. Hourly hire absorbs that: the vehicle stages near your next stop rather than leaving, so an overrunning meeting costs you the overrun and nothing more. We build the day around the appointments you actually have and put the slack where the map does not show it.
Studio days run to their own clock
Calls start early, days run long and the wrap time moves by hours rather than minutes. A booked pickup time is close to meaningless on a lot. We hold the vehicle on site, keep the chauffeur reachable directly, and treat the schedule as a guide rather than a commitment, because that is what it is.
The same chauffeur across the visit
On a multi-day roadshow the chauffeur learns the party, the luggage, which gate at which lot and which principal wants the quiet car. In a city where the driving is most of the day, that continuity is worth more than the vehicle. We assign a named chauffeur for the duration and give you a line to dispatch rather than an app.
Los Angeles accounts and billing
Consolidated billing
Corporate accounts are invoiced monthly against cost centres, project codes or individual travellers — whichever your finance team actually uses. Each line carries the route, the vehicle, the chauffeur and the disclosed extras, so an invoice can be reconciled without a phone call.
Booked by assistants, for travellers
Most of this work is booked by someone other than the passenger, so the process is built for them. Bookings go in by email or phone, confirmations name the chauffeur and the vehicle, changes are made by replying rather than re-entering a form, and we contact the traveller directly only when you ask us to.
Between the Los Angeles business districts
These are the legs a Los Angeles corporate day is made of. The gap between the two columns is the entire argument for hourly hire here.

| Santa Monica to Century City | 6 miles | 15–20 min | 30–45 min |
| Downtown to Pasadena | 11 miles | 20–25 min | 40–55 min |
| Beverly Hills to Burbank | 12 miles | 25–30 min | 45–65 min |
| Playa Vista to Century City | 8 miles | 20–25 min | 40–55 min |

Notes on Los Angeles districts
Century City & Beverly Hills. Beverly Hills is straightforward outside of the Rodeo Drive blocks, where kerb access effectively disappears in the afternoon and a cross-street pickup is the sensible answer.
Downtown Los Angeles. The financial district, the convention centre and the arena complex, with the Arts District now carrying real corporate weight of its own.
Santa Monica & the Westside. Santa Monica, Venice and Playa Vista carry the technology and media work, and all three sit closer to LAX than almost anywhere else of consequence. The Westside’s advantage is proximity; its cost is that the 10 and the 405 meet nearby and neither forgives a late start.
Hollywood, Burbank & the studios. Hourly hire suits this better than a series of transfers, and a vehicle held on site is worth more than a fast one summoned late.
Pasadena, the Valley & beyond. Long-distance runs — Santa Barbara, Palm Springs, San Diego — are quoted per trip.
How Los Angeles corporate work is priced
Los Angeles is quoted per route and confirmed in writing before you travel, with no surge pricing at any hour. Hourly hire is available and frequently the better structure here, because a Los Angeles day with three appointments is rarely three clean transfers. Rates are set per market, so a Los Angeles quote reflects Los Angeles.
Hourly hire is quoted at a market rate with a stated minimum and no surge at any hour. Point-to-point corporate transfers are quoted per route and confirmed in writing before you travel, with no surge pricing at any hour. Accounts are invoiced monthly with line-level detail against whatever coding your finance team uses.
For a day with three or more stops across the basin, hourly hire is almost always both cheaper and more reliable than the equivalent transfers. We will tell you which way it falls for your particular day rather than defaulting to the larger number.
