The Minneapolis venues we run to

U.S. Bank Stadium and Target Field empty into the same downtown grid. A Vikings Sunday is the largest movement this region sees. The Twin Cities put their major venues inside downtown Minneapolis rather than out in car parks, which makes them pleasant to attend and concentrated to leave. The light rail takes a genuinely useful share of the crowd, which helps more here than in most markets. We stage clear of the venues, come forward on a call and plan the big stadium days as operations.

Conventions, arenas and venues. The downtown venues sit within a few blocks of each other, so a convention day and an arena night together affect every approach at once.

Culture, dining and the region. Evening work runs to the theatre district and the lakes, and the drives out of the metro are long enough to be day hires.

Minneapolis Convention Center

Downtown

At the southern end of downtown with its own parking and skyway connections into the hotel cluster, which takes real pressure off the streets. Well organised and easy to work by convention-centre standards. We confirm the hall rather than the building for larger shows.

  • Skyway connected
  • Own parking
  • Confirm the hall

Target Center

Downtown

On 1st Avenue in the middle of downtown with garages around it and light rail alongside. Shares the district with Target Field a few blocks north, and two events on one evening fill every approach. We collect from an agreed point a couple of blocks out.

  • Downtown
  • Light rail
  • Clashes with Target Field

Target Field

North Loop

At the edge of the North Loop with its own light rail station and no parking to speak of immediately alongside, which pushes most of the crowd onto transit and on foot. That genuinely helps the departure. We stage in the North Loop and walk you the short distance.

  • North Loop
  • Heavy transit share
  • Stage nearby

U.S. Bank Stadium

Downtown East

On the eastern edge of downtown, and a full house here is the largest single movement in the region. The light rail and the skyway absorb a great deal but the surrounding streets fill completely. We collect from an agreed point west of the stadium rather than the gates.

  • Largest movement
  • Downtown East
  • Collect to the west

Orpheum Theatre

Hennepin Avenue

On Hennepin in the theatre district, with the State and Pantages within a block, so several houses can let out together into one street. Hennepin is busy at that hour anyway. We work from a cross street and come forward on a call.

  • Hennepin Avenue
  • Three houses together
  • Cross-street pickup

State Theatre

Hennepin Avenue

A few doors from the Orpheum and subject to the same simultaneous-curtain problem. The entrance is on Hennepin with no forecourt at all. An agreed point on 8th or 9th is the working answer rather than the avenue itself.

  • No forecourt
  • Shares the district
  • Agreed side street

Guthrie Theater

Mill District

On the river in the Mill District with its own parking and a distinctive building that is easy to find. Quieter surroundings than the Hennepin houses and a correspondingly easier departure. One of the more comfortable venue pickups in the city.

  • Mill District
  • Own parking
  • Easy departure

Xcel Energy Center

Downtown St. Paul

In downtown St. Paul with the RiverCentre attached and substantial parking, in a downtown that is quieter than Minneapolis to begin with. Easier to leave than any of the Minneapolis arenas. We collect from an agreed ramp exit.

  • Downtown St. Paul
  • RiverCentre attached
  • Easier departure

Walker Art Center

Lowry Hill

Beside the Sculpture Garden just west of downtown, with its own parking and straightforward access. Evening receptions here are common and have their own arrival arrangements, which we agree beforehand rather than at the kerb.

  • Sculpture Garden
  • Own parking
  • Evening receptions

Getting to the Minneapolis venues

Door to venue, clear roads. The right-hand column means an event night; a stadium Sunday is planned separately rather than estimated.

How Minneapolis event work is priced

Event transfers are quoted per route, and event evenings are usually better booked hourly — a performance does not end to a timetable. All of it is quoted per route and confirmed in writing before you travel, with no surge pricing at any hour.

For a corporate hospitality night we plan the departure as one staged movement from an agreed point and give you a single contact rather than several drivers to find in the cold.
