The Miami venues we run to
Miami’s event calendar is seasonal and intense, and the largest weeks fill every hotel from the beach to Fort Lauderdale. The beach venues are reached only by causeway, so vehicles have to be positioned on the correct side of the water in advance rather than dispatched on demand. We plan those weeks as a single operation and stage clear of the venues rather than joining queues that are not moving.
Conventions, arenas and venues. Miami’s event calendar is seasonal and intense. Art Basel, the boat shows and the tennis each reshape traffic for their duration, and the beach venues are reached only by causeway.
Culture, the coast and the region. Evening and weekend work runs to the design district, the waterfront and out of the county entirely. Season changes all of it.
Miami Beach Convention Center
South Beach
The centre of the beach event calendar and the home of Art Basel. During the largest shows the causeways run at capacity in both directions and South Beach street access is restricted. We position vehicles on the beach side in advance for those weeks rather than crossing on demand.
Kaseya Center
Downtown
On the downtown waterfront by Biscayne Boulevard, where event nights close streets rather than merely slowing them. The surrounding blocks are busy with downtown traffic already. We collect from an agreed point west of Biscayne and come forward on a call.
Hard Rock Stadium
Miami Gardens
Well north in Miami Gardens, a genuine drive from anywhere people stay and the venue for the tennis as well as the football. Event traffic fills the northern expressways in both directions. We stage north of the venue and quote it as the long transfer it is.
loanDepot park
Little Havana
In Little Havana with its own parking structures and better road access than most urban ballparks. Close to MIA, which makes a same-day game and flight genuinely practical. The surrounding residential streets are permit-controlled.
Adrienne Arsht Center
Downtown
On Biscayne Boulevard downtown, two halls that can finish close together and produce one combined departure onto a busy road. Performance nights here frequently coincide with arena events a few blocks south, which compounds both. We check the calendar rather than the clock.
Perez Art Museum Miami
Museum Park
On the bay at Museum Park next to the science museum, with limited vehicle access and heavy pedestrian traffic during evening receptions — of which there are many, particularly in Basel week. We agree the pickup point beforehand rather than negotiating it at the kerb.
The boat shows and marina events
Across South Florida
The Miami and Fort Lauderdale boat shows spread across several venues and marinas at once and are among the largest movements of the year here. Marina access is credentialed and tender timings are fixed. We plan these as multi-vehicle operations with one point of contact rather than as separate bookings.
Getting to the Miami venues
Door to venue, ordinary conditions. The right-hand column means an event night; in Basel or boat show week the beach figures are considerably worse than that.
| Route | Approx. distance | Off-peak | Allow on an event night |
|---|---|---|---|
| Brickell to the Beach Convention Center | 8 miles | 20–28 min | 45–75 min |
| Brickell to Kaseya Center | 2 miles | 8–15 min | 25–45 min |
| Brickell to Hard Rock Stadium | 18 miles | 28–38 min | 60–95 min |
| Brickell to loanDepot park | 4 miles | 12–18 min | 30–50 min |
| South Beach to the Arsht Center | 7 miles | 18–25 min | 40–65 min |
How Miami event work is priced
Event transfers are quoted per route, and event nights are usually better booked hourly. All of it is quoted per route and confirmed in writing before you travel, with no surge pricing at any hour, which during Basel and the boat shows is the single clearest difference between us and the alternatives.
For the major season weeks, book early. Every vehicle in South Florida is committed during the largest events and a booking made the week before is a very different proposition from one made the month before.
