The Seattle venues we run to

Lumen Field and T-Mobile Park sit next door to each other. A doubleheader day affects every approach to the south end of downtown. Seattle’s major venues cluster at the south end of downtown, which concentrates event traffic rather than spreading it. Add a cruise-ship Saturday on the waterfront and the whole western edge of the city runs at capacity. We stage clear of the venues, come forward on a call and tell you where to walk, which on a stadium night is reliably faster than being collected at the gate.

Conventions, arenas and venues. The convention centre and the stadiums sit close to downtown, and a game at either stadium fills the same few approaches.

Culture, dining and the region. Ferry, wine country and mountain work is a steady part of the trade, and a ferry puts a fixed timetable in the middle of the journey.

Seattle Convention Center

Downtown

Two buildings straddling the I-5 in the middle of downtown, which is unusual and means a big show pushes traffic through the retail core rather than around it. Different halls are reached from different streets. We confirm the building and the hall rather than the address.

  • Straddles the I-5
  • Confirm the hall

Climate Pledge Arena

Seattle Center

At Seattle Center under the Space Needle, in a campus with limited vehicle access and a great deal of pedestrian movement. The surrounding streets in Lower Queen Anne fill quickly on an event night. We collect from an agreed point several blocks out rather than the arena itself.

Lumen Field

SoDo

At the south end of downtown with large surrounding lots and a light rail station alongside, which takes a useful share of the crowd. Road access is decent for a stadium of its size. The constraint is the volume leaving at once onto the I-5 and the surface streets.

  • SoDo
  • Light rail alongside
  • Volume onto the I-5

T-Mobile Park

SoDo

Immediately next to Lumen Field, sharing its approaches entirely. A day with events at both is the worst combination in the city and worth planning around rather than discovering. Otherwise one of the easier ballparks to leave.

  • Adjacent to Lumen
  • Shared approaches
  • Doubleheader days

Benaroya Hall

Downtown

On Second Avenue in the middle of downtown, with the symphony crowd leaving in a single wave into streets that are already carrying evening traffic. The entrance sits on a slope. We stage on the flatter cross street and come forward on a call.

  • Second Avenue
  • Single departure wave
  • Cross-street staging

Paramount Theatre

Downtown

On Pine Street at Ninth, close to the convention centre and the freeway on-ramps, which helps the departure considerably. Shows here frequently run long. Hourly hire suits a theatre night better than a booked pickup time.

  • Pine Street
  • Near the on-ramps
  • Hourly hire

Space Needle and Chihuly Garden

Seattle Center

Sharing the Seattle Center campus with the arena, so an event night there affects visitor access to both. Private evening events at Chihuly are common and have their own arrival arrangements. We agree the point beforehand rather than at the kerb.

  • Seattle Center
  • Private evening events
  • Pre-agreed arrival

The cruise terminals

Waterfront

Pier 66 and Pier 91 handle heavy summer Saturday traffic, with thousands embarking and disembarking in the same few hours. Luggage is the defining feature of this work. We book the vehicle to the party and the bags rather than the headcount, and we allow properly for the terminal queues.

  • Pier 66 and 91
  • Summer Saturdays
  • Luggage-led vehicle choice

Getting to the Seattle venues

Door to venue, ordinary conditions. The right-hand column means an event night, which in SoDo frequently means two events at once.

How Seattle event work is priced

Event transfers are quoted per route, and event nights are usually better booked hourly — a performance does not end to a timetable. All of it is quoted per route and confirmed in writing before you travel, with no surge pricing at any hour.

Cruise departures are quoted per route with luggage capacity agreed at booking. A party of four with a fortnight of bags is a different vehicle from a party of four with carry-ons, and we would rather establish that now than at the pier.
