The Orlando fields
Orlando Executive is minutes from downtown in a way MCO is not. Kissimmee Gateway serves the resort corridor. Orlando private movement runs through Orlando Executive close to downtown, Kissimmee Gateway south near the resorts, Sanford to the north-east and MCO itself on its own ramp. Executive is the sharpest tool for city business and Kissimmee for a resort stay; MCO handles the larger aircraft. We work from the tail number and coordinate with the FBO directly rather than a filed time.
Orlando Executive (ORL)
Just east of downtown and genuinely close to it, which makes the ground time a fraction of an MCO arrival for anyone whose business is in the city rather than on the corridor. A comfortable field to operate from with straightforward access and no commercial congestion.
Kissimmee Gateway (ISM)
South of the resort corridor and the right arrival for anyone heading to Lake Buena Vista, Celebration or the southern resorts. It removes the whole run down from MCO, which in a convention week is a meaningful saving rather than a marginal one.
Sanford and the MCO ramp
Sanford takes larger aircraft and serves the northern suburbs, while MCO handles private movements on facilities well away from the passenger terminals — so a vehicle sent to a terminal address is in entirely the wrong place. We dispatch to the FBO by name.
Orlando groups, heat and crew
Group arrivals and the luggage question
A large aircraft arriving with a family party or a corporate group is a multi-vehicle movement needing an agreed order and one point of contact on the ramp. Orlando luggage is not business luggage — families arrive with a fortnight of it. Tell us the headcount and the bags and we will plan the vehicles rather than guess.
Florida heat and afternoon storms
The ramp here is hot for most of the year and a vehicle that has been standing is worse. We pre-cool before arrival, carry water and position as close to the aircraft as the FBO permits. Afternoon storms delay departures routinely, so waiting is measured against the actual movement rather than the filed time.
From the Orlando private fields
Door to FBO, ordinary conditions. The Executive and Kissimmee figures are the argument for choosing the field by where you are actually staying.

How Orlando private aviation transfers are priced
FBO transfers are quoted per route and confirmed in writing before you travel, with no surge pricing at any hour. Waiting time is measured against the actual movement rather than a filed time, so a storm delay does not become a billing conversation.
Tell us the field, the FBO and the headcount when you book. For a family group arriving on one aircraft we would rather plan two vehicles properly than send one and improvise at the ramp.
