The Orlando venues we run to
The OCCC has a north building and a south building, and they are a genuine walk apart. The hall number is the instruction that helps. Orlando event work is dominated by the convention centre and the theme parks, both of which operate at a scale that changes the roads around them. The downtown venues are easier by comparison, with proper parking and sensible approaches. We stage clear of venues, come forward on a call, and plan the largest show weeks as operations rather than bookings.
Conventions, arenas and venues. The convention centre dominates the calendar, and during the largest shows every hotel from the corridor to the airport is full.
Culture, dining and the region. Evening work runs to the restaurant districts, and the coasts are close enough on either side to be day hires.
Orange County Convention Center
International Drive
The second-largest convention floor in North America, in two buildings a genuine distance apart with their own halls and entrances. During the biggest shows International Drive carries far more than it was built for. We confirm the building and the hall, and in show weeks work from agreed staging points rather than the front.
Kia Center
Downtown
Downtown with garages around it and reasonable road access, considerably easier to leave than anything on the corridor. Event nights fill the surrounding blocks but the district handles it. We collect from an agreed point a couple of streets out.
Camping World Stadium
West downtown
West of downtown with substantial surface parking around it, which genuinely helps — there are workable staging positions a short walk from the gates. The constraint is the volume leaving onto the surrounding streets at once rather than the access itself.
Dr. Phillips Center
Downtown
On South Orange Avenue downtown with several performance spaces inside, so the venue name alone is not enough on a busy night. Performances end into an evening downtown that is otherwise fairly quiet, which makes the departure easier than the corridor venues.
Exploria Stadium
Downtown
Just west of downtown, compact and well integrated with garages nearby and a crowd that disperses into the downtown bars rather than all leaving at once. One of the easier venues here to work.
Universal Orlando
Universal Boulevard
A resort complex with its own road network, security and several drop-off points serving different parks and hotels. The public address is not where a guest usually needs to be. We confirm which park or hotel entrance rather than the resort name.
SeaWorld Orlando
Convention corridor
Close to the convention centre with its own large car park and a single main entrance road that queues at opening and closing rather than throughout. Family traffic with equipment is common, which affects the vehicle more than the route.
Walt Disney World
Lake Buena Vista
Not a venue so much as a district, with four parks, dozens of hotels and an internal road network larger than some cities. A Disney address is never enough on its own. We establish the specific park or resort at booking and route to the correct entrance.
Getting to the Orlando venues
Door to venue, ordinary conditions. The right-hand column means a show week or an event night, which on the corridor is a much larger difference than downtown.
| Route | Approx. distance | Off-peak | Allow on an event night |
|---|---|---|---|
| International Drive to the OCCC | 2 miles | 8–12 min | 25–50 min |
| Downtown to Kia Center | 1 mile | 5–10 min | 18–35 min |
| MCO to the OCCC | 13 miles | 20–28 min | 40–70 min |
| Lake Buena Vista to Universal | 10 miles | 16–24 min | 30–55 min |
| Downtown to Camping World Stadium | 2 miles | 8–14 min | 25–45 min |
How Orlando event work is priced
Event transfers are quoted per route, and convention days and park evenings are usually better booked hourly. All of it is quoted per route and confirmed in writing before you travel, with no surge pricing at any hour, including through the largest shows.
For a major convention, book early. Those weeks commit most of the vehicles in the region and a late request is a genuinely different proposition from an early one.
