Booking in Houston
Distance here is measured in time rather than miles. The Energy Corridor to Hobby at five in the afternoon is its own kind of trip. Chauffeured sedans and SUVs across Houston — two commercial airports at opposite ends of the city, the largest medical complex in the world, and an energy corridor that generates more executive travel than most downtowns. Booked and managed by Executive Black Car, driven by vetted local operators who work these roads every day.

Houston airports
George Bush Intercontinental (IAH)
The long-haul and international gateway, sitting a genuine distance north of the city with five terminals linked by the Skyway and Subway trains. Terminal assignment matters here because the terminals are not walkable to one another, and all international arrivals clear customs in Terminal E. We confirm against the flight number and hold through customs rather than running a clock against a queue.

William P. Hobby (HOU)
Closer in, smaller and considerably easier to be collected from. Hobby serves the south and east of the city well and is often the better arrival point for anyone working Downtown, the Medical Center or Clear Lake. Its single main terminal makes for one of the more straightforward pickups in Texas.
Single terminal · South-side advantage · Faster arrivals
Private aviation
Houston carries heavy private traffic, spread between the FBOs at Bush Intercontinental and Hobby and the dedicated fields at Sugar Land and Conroe. Energy-sector movements in particular tend to run on their own schedule rather than a published one. For private arrivals we work from the tail number and coordinate with the FBO directly. Tell us the field and the FBO when you book and we will confirm coverage before you travel.

Where we work in Houston
Downtown & Midtown
We agree a street-level pickup point, not a tower name. The corporate and legal core, with the convention district and the arenas immediately adjacent. We agree a street-level pickup point rather than a tower name, because getting that wrong costs more time here than the drive does.
Uptown & the Galleria
Hotel forecourts work far better than Post Oak itself. The second downtown in all but name, with the Galleria complex, the Post Oak corridor and a dense concentration of hotels and corporate offices. Post Oak Boulevard is slow through most of the day and the hotel forecourts here work far better than the street.
The Energy Corridor & Westchase
We schedule against the I-10 peak, not through it. The concentration of energy majors along I-10 west generates a steady flow of international executive travel, much of it long-haul through Bush Intercontinental.
Texas Medical Center
The entrance matters more than the address. The largest medical complex in the world, with constant visiting-physician, research and patient-family travel. Access within the complex is genuinely confusing and the institutions are large enough that the correct entrance matters more than the address.
The Woodlands, Sugar Land & the suburbs
The Woodlands is closer to Bush than the city is. The Woodlands to the north carries substantial corporate presence and sits closer to Bush Intercontinental than the city does, which works in your favour. Sugar Land and Katy to the south and west are further from both airports and worth booking earlier than the estimate suggests.
Typical journey times across Houston
Houston is spread out enough that the airport choice changes the whole trip.

Hotels, venues and campuses we run to
Hotel transfers in Houston
The Post Oak and the Uptown houses sit close together on the Post Oak corridor, which is slow through most of the day — a departure from there for an early flight out of Bush needs a considerably earlier start than the map suggests.
Events & venues in Houston
Rodeo season runs for weeks and moves enormous numbers of people to NRG on a fixed daily pattern. Those evenings need planning in advance rather than dispatching on the day.
Galveston is a real transfer rather than a local run and the causeway is the constraint on a summer weekend. Austin and San Antonio are quoted per trip; both are long enough that an overnight is often the better answer.

Universities & campuses in Houston
The Medical Center is genuinely confusing to navigate and the institutions are large enough that the correct entrance matters more than the address. Treatment days are better booked hourly — appointment times hold far less often than anyone plans for.
