Booking in Boston
Logan is close to the city in miles and not always in minutes. Which tunnel, and at what hour, is the whole difference. Chauffeured sedans and SUVs across Boston and eastern Massachusetts — an airport closer to downtown than almost any in the country, reached through tunnels that decide how long the trip actually takes, and a street plan that rewards local knowledge more than any other American city. Booked and managed by Executive Black Car, driven by vetted local operators who work these roads every day.

Boston airports
Boston Logan International (BOS)
Four terminals on a peninsula in the harbour, unusually close to downtown and connected to it by tunnel. Logan’s terminals are genuinely separate — there is no quick correction if the pickup is set at the wrong one — and arrivals kerb space is tight at peak. We confirm the terminal against the flight number and meet inside by default. Most international arrivals clear at Terminal E, where we hold through customs rather than running a clock against a queue.

Private aviation
Hanscom Field, north-west of the city near Bedford, carries the bulk of Boston’s private traffic and is well placed for the 128 technology corridor, while Norwood and Beverly serve the south and north respectively. For anyone with meetings along 128 rather than downtown, Hanscom is frequently the better arrival point. For private arrivals we work from the tail number and coordinate with the FBO directly. Tell us the field and the FBO when you book and we will confirm coverage before you travel.

Providence and Manchester
T. F. Green in Rhode Island and Manchester–Boston Regional in New Hampshire both serve the region and are occasionally the better flight, particularly for anyone working south or north of the city. Each is a genuine long transfer rather than a local run, and we quote them that way. We will say plainly when the cheaper flight costs more in ground time than it saves.

Where we work in Boston
Financial District & Downtown
Addresses mislead, so we agree the pickup point at booking. Boston’s corporate core, and the most difficult part of the city to drive well. We agree a workable pickup point at booking, which in Boston is a real piece of value rather than a formality.
Back Bay
Pick up a block off Boylston or Newbury. The hotel and conference district, with the convention centre at Hynes and the Copley cluster handling most visiting executives. Boylston and Newbury are congested at almost any hour, and a pickup a block off either moves considerably faster.
The Seaport
Closest to Logan, and easiest outside show weeks. The newest business district in the city and the closest to Logan by a wide margin — a Seaport departure is among the shortest airport runs we quote anywhere. Outside show weeks it is the easiest downtown pickup in Boston.
Cambridge & Kendall Square
Which bridge works depends on the hour. Crossing the river is the constraint, and which bridge works depends entirely on the hour. Much of our Cambridge work is hourly rather than point to point, because a day there rarely holds to its schedule.
Longwood, the 128 corridor & beyond
Longwood’s hospitals have genuinely difficult vehicle access. The Longwood Medical Area is a dense cluster of hospitals and research institutions with genuinely difficult vehicle access and constant visiting traffic. Out along Route 128, Burlington, Waltham and Lexington carry the technology corridor.
Typical journey times to Logan Airport
Logan is close enough that the distances look trivial, and they are — right up until the tunnel backs up. Everything from the city side crosses the harbour, and that crossing is the journey.
| From | Approx. distance | Off-peak | Allow in peak |
|---|---|---|---|
| Financial District | 4 miles | 12–20 min | 30–45 min |
| Back Bay | 6 miles | 20–25 min | 35–55 min |
| Seaport | 3 miles | 10–15 min | 25–35 min |
| Cambridge (Kendall Square) | 6 miles | 20–30 min | 40–55 min |
| Longwood Medical Area | 8 miles | 25–30 min | 45–60 min |
| Burlington / 128 corridor | 20 miles | 30–40 min | 55–75 min |
Hotels, venues and campuses we run to
Hotel transfers in Boston
Newbury and Boylston are congested at almost any hour and several Back Bay houses have a service-side entrance that works far better. The Seaport properties are the easiest pickups in the city and the closest to Logan by a wide margin.
Events & venues in Boston
Fenway is wedged into a residential street pattern with almost no stopping anywhere near it, so game nights are worked from an agreed corner several blocks out. The BCEC in the Seaport is the easier of the two convention centres by some margin.
Cape traffic on a summer Friday is a genuinely different journey from the same run midweek, and the bridges are the choke point. Ferry departures for the islands are fixed times, so we plan those around the sailing rather than the drive.

Universities & campuses in Boston
The Longwood Medical Area packs several hospitals into a few blocks with genuinely difficult vehicle access and constant traffic. We confirm the institution and the entrance. Harvard and MIT commencement weeks reshape Cambridge entirely.
