How the Columbus day is built
Columbus is an easy city to move around. The value here is reliability through a Midwestern winter rather than beating traffic. Corporate work here runs between downtown, the insurance and financial offices, the Dublin and New Albany corporate campuses and the research operations around the university. The distances are moderate and the roads work, which makes this a straightforward market on an ordinary day. What clients actually buy from us is a car that turns up on a February morning when the forecast was wrong.
Reliability is the product here
In markets like New York we sell knowledge of where a car can stop. Here we sell the car being there at seven in the morning in sleet, with a chauffeur who left earlier because the forecast looked marginal. That is less dramatic and it is what actually matters in central Ohio.
The corporate campuses north of the city
Dublin, New Albany and the northern office parks carry a great deal of the region’s corporate business, and they are spread out with their own internal roads and visitor entrances. A day that touches two of them plus downtown covers real ground, and hourly hire keeps the vehicle with you rather than shuttling back.
The same chauffeur across the visit
On a multi-day programme the chauffeur learns the party, the campuses and which entrance is which at an office park where every building looks alike. We assign a named chauffeur for the duration and give you a direct line to dispatch rather than an app.
Columbus accounts and billing
Straightforward monthly invoicing
Accounts are invoiced monthly against cost centres or travellers, with the route, vehicle, chauffeur and any disclosed extras on every line. Nothing clever — an invoice that a finance team can read and approve without asking us a question about it.
Booked by assistants, for travellers
Most bookings come from someone who is not travelling. Email or phone, confirmations naming the chauffeur and the vehicle, and changes made by replying. In winter we will proactively tell an assistant when we think a pickup time needs moving rather than waiting to be asked.
Between the Columbus business districts
These are the legs a Columbus corporate day is made of. They are short and predictable, which is the genuine advantage of working here.

Notes on Columbus districts
Downtown & the Arena District. Downtown Columbus is easy to drive by the standards of most state capitals, with generous streets and workable forecourts.
The Short North & Grandview. Grandview to the west carries newer office space on the same pattern.
Easton & New Albany. Easton is a large mixed commercial district north-east of the city with hotels, offices and retail in one place, and it sits unusually close to the airport — among the shortest reliable transfers in the market. New Albany beyond it carries corporate campuses and a growing technology and data-centre presence.
Dublin, Polaris & the outerbelt. The golf calendar out towards Dublin generates its own seasonal demand.
The university & the region. Cleveland, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and Indianapolis are all within comfortable reach and are quoted per trip as long-distance work.
How Columbus corporate work is priced
Columbus is quoted per route and confirmed in writing before you travel, with no surge pricing at any hour. Hourly hire is available for multi-stop days, campus visits and event work. Rates are set per market, so a Columbus quote reflects Columbus.
Hourly hire is quoted at a market rate with a stated minimum and no surge at any hour. Point-to-point transfers are quoted per route and confirmed in writing before you travel, with no surge pricing at any hour. Accounts are invoiced monthly with line-level detail.
Cleveland, Cincinnati, Indianapolis and Pittsburgh are routine long-distance runs from here and quoted per trip. For a day visiting two of the northern campuses, hourly hire is usually both cheaper and simpler.
