The Las Vegas hotels we run to

Every resort here has several entrances and they are not interchangeable. This is the single most useful thing to know about Las Vegas ground transport. The Strip resorts take almost all of the visiting traffic, and each is effectively a small town. A main porte-cochere, a separate limousine entrance, a convention hall door and sometimes a private villa entrance — all under one name and all a long way from each other inside. We agree the specific door at booking. On a busy evening that single detail is worth more than anything else we do here.

These are the addresses people actually give a chauffeur in Las Vegas. Every resort has several entrances and they are not interchangeable — this is the single most useful thing to know here.

Where visiting executives stay. The Strip resorts take almost all of the visiting traffic. Each has a main porte-cochère, a separate limousine entrance and frequently a third door for the convention halls.

Bellagio

Central Strip

A very large property with a main porte-cochere off the Strip, a separate limousine entrance and convention access round the side. The fountain crowds affect the front approach through the evening. We use the limousine entrance by default and say so at booking.

  • Separate limousine entrance
  • Fountain crowds
  • Default to the side

Wynn Las Vegas

North Strip

Set back from the Strip behind its own curved drive, which keeps arrivals away from the main road entirely — one of the better-organised arrivals on the Strip. Shares a site with Encore and the two connect inside, so the correct tower matters.

  • Own curved drive
  • Shares with Encore
  • Confirm the tower

Encore

North Strip

Connected to Wynn and reached by its own entrance further north along the Strip. Guests are regularly delivered to the wrong one of the two, which means a long internal walk. We confirm which tower at booking rather than assuming.

  • Own entrance
  • Easily confused with Wynn
  • Long internal walk if wrong

The Venetian

Central Strip

Enormous, with the Palazzo attached and the Sands Expo convention space on the same site. Three different destinations under broadly one name, each with its own entrance. During a convention the hall entrance is a completely different journey from the hotel one.

  • Venetian, Palazzo and Sands Expo
  • Three entrances
  • Convention door differs

Aria

Central Strip

In CityCenter, which has an internal road network of its own and several properties sharing it. The approach is from a side road rather than the Strip, and getting into CityCenter correctly is most of the exercise. We plan it rather than following signage in from the Strip.

  • CityCenter
  • Internal road network
  • Side-road approach

Four Seasons Las Vegas

South Strip

Occupying the upper floors of Mandalay Bay with its own separate entrance and driveway, which is exactly the kind of detail that goes wrong. A vehicle sent to Mandalay Bay is at the wrong door entirely. We use the Four Seasons entrance and confirm it.

  • Inside Mandalay Bay
  • Own separate entrance
  • Commonly confused

The Cosmopolitan

Central Strip

On the Strip between Bellagio and CityCenter, with a compact entrance that gets very busy in the evening given how much the property attracts. Works well earlier in the day and needs an agreed point at night.

  • Compact entrance
  • Very busy evenings
  • Agreed point at night

Caesars Palace

Central Strip

A sprawling property with multiple towers, a long forecourt and a conference centre attached. The tower genuinely matters here: the walk between the furthest two is substantial. We ask which tower and which entrance rather than the property name.

  • Multiple towers
  • Long internal distances
  • Tower required

Resorts World

North Strip

At the north end with three hotel brands inside one building, each with its own check-in and its own preferred entrance. The building is new and the access is well designed, but the brand inside it is the detail that decides where a vehicle should stop.

  • Three brands inside
  • Well-designed access
  • Brand decides the door

Fontainebleau Las Vegas

North Strip

At the north end near the Convention Center, which makes it unusually convenient during a major show — the walk to the halls is short by Las Vegas standards. Purpose-built arrival area with proper capacity.

  • Near the Convention Center
  • Short walk to the halls
  • Purpose-built arrival

MGM Grand

South Strip

Very large, at the corner of Tropicana and the Strip, with the arena attached and several entrances serving different parts of the site. Event nights at the Garden Arena fill the whole forecourt. We work from the limousine entrance and time around the event calendar.

  • Arena attached
  • Event-night congestion
  • Limousine entrance

Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas

Central Strip

In CityCenter, non-gaming and quieter than its neighbours, with a discreet entrance off the internal road rather than the Strip. Among the calmest arrivals in the city, which is precisely why people choose it.

  • CityCenter
  • Non-gaming
  • Discreet entrance

Around the Las Vegas Strip and to the airport

Door to kerb, ordinary conditions. These are short; the right-hand column is a busy evening or a show week, when the forecourts rather than the roads are the constraint.

How Las Vegas resort transfers are priced

Resort transfers are quoted per route and confirmed in writing before you travel, with no surge pricing at any hour. That holds through CES, through fight weekends and through New Year, which are precisely the nights when everything else in this city multiplies.

Tell us the resort and the entrance. If you do not know which entrance, tell us your tower or where your meeting is and we will choose correctly rather than guessing at the kerb.
