The Phoenix hotels we run to
These are resorts rather than hotels, and a resort address is a gate rather than a door. The casita number matters. Phoenix and Scottsdale accommodation is resort accommodation, which changes what a transfer needs. These are large properties spread over many acres with several entrances, and the building or casita matters as much as the property name. Vehicle access is generally excellent — space is not scarce here — but the internal distances are real and the heat is a genuine factor in how we plan an arrival.
These are the addresses people actually give a chauffeur in Phoenix. The valley is wide, the freeways move well off-peak, and season changes everything.
Where visiting executives stay. The Scottsdale and Camelback resorts take most of the executive and conference traffic, with downtown serving the convention and sporting business.
The Phoenician
Scottsdale
On the lower slopes of Camelback Mountain, a very large property with a long entrance drive and a main arrival court that handles vehicles comfortably. The internal distances are substantial, so the building matters. One of the easier grand resorts to work.
Arizona Biltmore
Phoenix
In the Biltmore area of Phoenix rather than Scottsdale, which puts it closer to Sky Harbor and to downtown than most of the resorts. Historic grounds with a clear arrival court and straightforward access from 24th Street.
Sanctuary Camelback Mountain
Paradise Valley
On the northern slope of Camelback in Paradise Valley, reached by a residential road that climbs and narrows. The property is spread across the hillside and the casitas are genuinely far from the entrance, so we confirm which one and drive in rather than dropping at the gate.
Four Seasons Scottsdale at Troon North
North Scottsdale
Well north in the desert at Troon North, a genuine drive from Sky Harbor and minutes from Scottsdale Airport — which is exactly the calculation worth making before booking flights. Low-rise casitas spread across the site with generous vehicle access.
Fairmont Scottsdale Princess
North Scottsdale
A very large resort that hosts the tournament crowds and major conferences, with a substantial arrival court built for volume. During the WM Phoenix Open the surrounding roads are transformed and access moves to managed points. We plan that week rather than quoting it.
The Boulders
Carefree
Out at Carefree, further north than most visitors expect and among the longest resort transfers in the valley. Set among the rock formations with casitas spread widely. We quote it as the long transfer it is and allow properly for the internal drive.
JW Marriott Desert Ridge
North Phoenix
A very large conference resort in north Phoenix with substantial arrival capacity and a great deal of group business. Built to handle several coaches and many cars at once, which makes group arrivals here more straightforward than at the boutique properties.
Royal Palms
Phoenix
At the foot of Camelback on the Phoenix side, smaller and more intimate than the big resorts, with a compact courtyard entrance. The scale here is human rather than vast, which makes arrivals quick. Close to the Biltmore corridor and to Sky Harbor.
Omni Scottsdale at Montelucia
Paradise Valley
In Paradise Valley beneath Camelback, a large property with a clear entrance and good vehicle access. Popular for conferences and weddings, both of which produce concentrated arrival patterns that are worth planning for rather than absorbing.
Andaz Scottsdale
Paradise Valley
A low-rise bungalow property in Paradise Valley, spread horizontally rather than built up, which means the bungalow number is genuinely necessary. Quiet and easy to access from Scottsdale Road. A short run to Old Town and to Scottsdale Airport.
From the Phoenix resorts to the airports
Door to kerb, ordinary conditions. The north valley properties are much closer to Scottsdale Airport than to Sky Harbor, which is worth knowing before flights are booked.

How Phoenix resort transfers are priced
Resort transfers are quoted per route and confirmed in writing before you travel, with no surge pricing at any hour. The north valley properties are quoted as the longer transfers they genuinely are rather than as a local run with a surprise at the end.
Tell us the casita, villa or building number at booking. On a property spread over two hundred acres it is the difference between arriving at your door and arriving at a gate with a long walk ahead of you in the heat.
