The Philadelphia hotels we run to
Rittenhouse Square and the Avenue of the Arts take most of the corporate and legal business. Both are easier to work than their traffic suggests. Philadelphia’s executive hotels cluster around Rittenhouse Square, along the Avenue of the Arts and through the old financial core, with University City serving the research and academic business. Most have workable entrances, and the ones fronting Broad Street are best approached from the side. Because everything here is close to the airport, the pickup timing is far less fraught than in most markets we work.
These are the addresses people actually give a chauffeur in Philadelphia. Center City is compact and walkable, which means most of our work here is airport transfers and corridor runs.
Where visiting executives stay. The Rittenhouse and Avenue of the Arts houses take most of the corporate and legal traffic, with the Navy Yard and University City properties serving the research business.
Four Seasons Philadelphia
Logan Square
At the top of the Comcast Technology Center on Arch Street, with the hotel entrance on the ground floor of a very busy office tower. The loading area works well and is separate from the office traffic. Central for Center City and a straightforward run to PHL.
The Rittenhouse
Rittenhouse Square
On the square itself with a covered drive set back from the road, which matters because the streets around Rittenhouse are narrow and busy through the evening. One of the most comfortable pickups in the city and the default for legal and financial visitors.
The Logan
Logan Square
Facing Logan Square on the Parkway, with good access from the circle and proper space at the entrance. The Parkway carries event traffic several times a year that closes it entirely, which is the one thing worth checking before a departure here.
Hotel Monaco Philadelphia
Old City
On Chestnut at Fifth facing Independence Hall, in the historic district where the streets are narrow and tourist traffic is heavy through the middle of the day. Early morning departures from here are easy; midday pickups need an agreed point.
Sofitel Philadelphia
Rittenhouse
On Sansom Street a block from Rittenhouse Square, on a narrow one-way where a brief stop works but a wait does not. The approach direction matters. Quiet compared with the square itself and well placed for the legal district.
The Bellevue Hotel
Avenue of the Arts
On Broad Street at Walnut in the old Bellevue-Stratford building, with the hotel entrance on the side rather than the avenue. Broad is a poor place to stop and the side entrance is the answer. Close to the Kimmel Center, so performance nights affect the block.
W Philadelphia
Avenue of the Arts
On Chestnut at Fifteenth in a newer tower with purpose-built vehicle access, which is rarer in this city than you would think. Busy at checkout. Central for both the Avenue of the Arts and the financial core.
The Notary Hotel
City Hall
In the old City Hall Annex on Juniper Street, right beside City Hall where the traffic circles and the one-ways are genuinely confusing. The entrance works once you are on the right street. We plan the approach rather than following a mapping application into the circle.
Kimpton Hotel Palomar
Rittenhouse
On Seventeenth at Sansom in the Architects Building, a block from Rittenhouse Square with a compact entrance on a busy corner. Works well outside the evening rush. Short run to both PHL and 30th Street Station.
From the Philadelphia hotel districts to PHL
Door to kerb, ordinary conditions. These are genuinely short, which is one of the real pleasures of working in this city.

How Philadelphia hotel transfers are priced
Hotel transfers are quoted per route and confirmed in writing before you travel, with no surge pricing at any hour. Hourly hire suits a day that begins and ends at the hotel with corridor stops between, which is the shape most of our Philadelphia work takes.
For an in-city day with everything inside Center City, we will tell you honestly if a car is not the right answer. That costs us a booking and keeps the relationship, which is the trade we prefer.
