The Jacksonville fields
Craig sits close to the Southside and Fernandina is on Amelia Island. Either removes an hour that a JAX arrival would cost you. Private movement here runs through the FBO facilities at Jacksonville International, Craig Municipal on the Southside, Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island and St Augustine to the south. The smaller fields are the interesting ones: Fernandina puts you on Amelia without the drive, and Craig is minutes from the Southside offices. We work from the tail number and coordinate with the FBO directly.
Jacksonville International private terminals
FBO facilities away from the passenger terminal with their own access roads, on a field that handles anything. It sits north of the city, which is convenient for Amelia and inconvenient for the southern beaches. For most arrivals it works; for a Ponte Vedra stay it is the long way round.
Craig Municipal (CRG)
On the Southside, close to Deerwood, the Town Center and the beaches, which makes it the sharpest option for most business in this region. A short, easy field with simple access. For a day of Southside meetings it removes most of the driving that a JAX arrival would involve.
Fernandina Beach (FHB) and St Augustine (SGJ)
Fernandina sits on Amelia Island itself, which for a resort stay there means arriving minutes from the hotel rather than an hour. St Augustine serves the south and is convenient for Ponte Vedra and the historic district. Both are small fields with real limits on aircraft size.

THE PLAYERS fills every coastal hotel and every private field in the region for a week, and the road pattern around Ponte Vedra changes with it. Ground transport books out at the same rate as the parking on the ramp. We will tell you plainly when a date is going to be difficult.
Storms, heat and crew rest
Summer afternoon storms delay departures here routinely, and the ramp in August is not somewhere to wait. We pre-cool the vehicle before arrival, carry water and measure waiting against the actual movement. Crew rest transfers recur and work better as standing arrangements.
