Atlanta arrivals
The busiest passenger airport in the world, and the one where getting the terminal wrong costs you a fifteen-minute walk. We confirm it against the flight number, not the itinerary. Hartsfield–Jackson moves more passengers than any other airport on earth, and it is laid out in a way that punishes assumptions. This page covers what actually matters when a chauffeur is meeting you there: which side to be on, what happens when the flight slips, and how long the run into the city really takes.
North and South — the distinction that costs you time
The domestic terminal is split into North and South, each with its own arrivals hall, its own baggage claim and its own kerb. They are connected, but the walk between them with luggage is long enough to lose a quarter of an hour. Your airline determines which side you land on, and airlines move. We check the terminal against the flight number on the day rather than trusting what the booking said a month earlier.
The International Terminal and international arrivals
International flights arrive at Concourses E and F, and passengers ending their trip in Atlanta exit through the Maynard H. Jackson International Terminal, which sits apart from the domestic halls and has its own arrivals roadway. Customs at ATL can be quick or can take well over an hour, and nothing in the schedule predicts which. We hold the vehicle through customs rather than starting a waiting charge against a queue you do not control.
Where we meet you
By default we meet inside at baggage claim with a name board, which at an airport this size is worth more than a kerbside saving of two minutes. If you would rather move straight out, we will take a kerbside pickup instead and give you a specific door number rather than a vague direction. Either way you get the chauffeur’s name and mobile number before you land.
When the flight into Atlanta does not behave
Delays, early landings and diversions
Your flight is tracked from wheels-up, so a delay moves the pickup automatically and you do not need to call anyone. An early landing is the more common problem in practice, and it is the one that catches most operators out — we work from the aircraft’s actual progress rather than the published arrival time. ATL is also a weather hub: a storm in another state reliably becomes a delay here.
Tight connections and missed flights
If a connection fails and you are rebooked onto a later flight, tell dispatch and the booking moves with you rather than being cancelled and rebuilt. For departures we would rather you left earlier than looked relaxed — the security queues at ATL at peak are long enough that arriving with a comfortable margin is not caution, it is arithmetic.
How long the Atlanta run actually takes
Door to kerb, ordinary conditions. Atlanta’s Downtown Connector can add half an hour to any of these without warning, so every airport pickup is scheduled with allowance rather than against the optimistic figure.

What an ATL transfer costs
ATL transfers are quoted per route and confirmed in writing before you travel. There is no surge pricing at any hour — a 6am departure and a 6pm one are priced the same way.
Waiting time outside a tracked flight is disclosed at booking. Time spent waiting because your flight was late is not charged, because that is the point of tracking it.
