Two terminals, with Terminal 2 carrying almost all of the traffic and Terminal 1 a small separate building. They are not adjacent and a vehicle sent to the wrong one means a shuttle ride. The arrivals level at Terminal 2 is well organised and the walk is short. We confirm the terminal against the flight number and meet inside.

Private aviation
RDU carries substantial corporate and private traffic on its own ramp, and it is well placed for the whole Triangle in a way no other field is. Johnston County Airport to the south-east and Horace Williams near Chapel Hill take smaller movements. For private arrivals we work from the tail number and coordinate with the FBO directly. Research Triangle Park
We confirm the building and visitor entrance first. A research and corporate park covering thousands of acres, with campuses set well back from wooded roads and entrances that are not obvious from the approach.
Downtown Raleigh & midtown
Easy driving outside event nights. The state capitol, the legal district and the convention centre, with North Hills a few miles north carrying newer corporate and hotel business. Raleigh drives easily by the standards of most capitals, with workable forecourts and no serious congestion outside event nights.
Durham & Duke
Duke’s calendar fills the city several times a year. Downtown Durham has been rebuilt around the old tobacco warehouses and carries a genuine restaurant and startup scene on compact streets. Duke sits immediately west with a large campus and a major medical centre, and its calendar fills the city several times a year.
Chapel Hill & Carrboro
We work from the perimeter of the campus. A university town in the proper sense, where the campus and the centre are the same place and Franklin Street is the whole of it. Vehicle access is genuinely constrained around the campus and impossible after a basketball win. We work from the perimeter and say so at booking.

The Umstead sits in Cary close to RDU and is among the shortest airport transfers in the market. The Washington Duke Inn is on the Duke campus itself, which makes it convenient for the university and subject to campus access on event weekends.
Events & venues in Raleigh–Durham
Carter-Finley and the arena share a site west of Raleigh with large surface lots, so there are workable staging positions a short walk from the gates. Cameron Indoor is in the middle of the Duke campus with almost no vehicle access on a game night.
Pinehurst is a routine golf run south-west and Wilmington a straight shot to the coast. Both are full-day hires quoted per trip rather than hourly.
