The Memphis venues we run to

Memphis concentrates its venues in a few downtown blocks around Beale Street, which is closed to traffic on exactly the evenings those venues are busiest. Add a festival weekend and the whole riverfront changes. We stage north or west of the arena, agree the collection point before the show rather than after it, and plan festival weeks as operations rather than bookings.

Conventions, arenas and venues. The downtown venues sit within a few blocks of each other, and Beale Street closures shape the departure more than the venue does.

Music, the river and the region. Evening work runs to the music venues and the river, and the Delta towns are regular longer runs.

FedExForum

Beale Street

On Beale at Third, which means the arena empties onto a street closed to vehicles on a busy evening. There is no pickup at the doors. We collect from an agreed point several streets north or west, which on a sell-out is comfortably faster than anything else available.

  • On Beale
  • No door pickup
  • Collect north or west

Renasant Convention Center

Downtown

On the riverfront north of Beale with its own parking and hotels attached, recently renovated and easy to work by convention-centre standards. Large shows push traffic through downtown but the building handles arrivals properly.

  • Riverfront
  • Attached hotels
  • Own parking

Orpheum Theatre Memphis

Beale Street

At Main and Beale, on the corner of two streets that are respectively pedestrianised and closed. A restored house with no forecourt to speak of. We work from Union or a cross street and come forward on a call rather than attempting the corner.

  • Main and Beale
  • No forecourt
  • Work from Union

AutoZone Park

Downtown

A ballpark in the middle of downtown with garages nearby and a crowd that disperses into the downtown bars rather than leaving all at once. Considerably easier than the arena. We collect from an agreed point a couple of streets out.

  • Downtown ballpark
  • Crowd disperses
  • Garages nearby

Graceland

Whitehaven

South of the city with its own large car parks, a visitor complex and an attached hotel, so access is straightforward and the constraint is opening and closing volume rather than the roads. Close to the airport, which makes a combined visit and flight genuinely practical.

  • Own car parks
  • Close to MEM
  • Opening and closing volume

Memphis Botanic Garden

East Memphis

In East Memphis with its own parking and simple access, a common venue for evening receptions and private events. Straightforward compared with the downtown venues, and an agreed pickup point handles the evening crowd easily.

  • East Memphis
  • Own parking
  • Evening receptions

Beale Street Music Festival

Tom Lee Park

On the riverfront at Tom Lee Park each spring, closing the whole riverfront and the streets around it for several days. Access moves to designated points and the crowd is very large. We plan that weekend as an operation and advise on timing before the day.

  • Riverfront closures
  • Several days
  • Planned as an operation

Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium

Midtown

In Midtown at the fairgrounds with substantial surface parking around it, which genuinely helps — there are workable staging positions a short walk from the gates. The constraint is the volume leaving onto the surrounding streets at once.

  • Surface parking
  • Workable staging
  • Volume is the constraint

Getting to the Memphis venues

Door to venue, ordinary conditions. The right-hand column means an event night, which downtown usually coincides with a Beale Street closure rather than merely traffic.

How Memphis event work is priced

Event transfers are quoted per route, and event evenings are usually better booked hourly — a show does not end to a timetable and a vehicle released at the start cannot be recalled into a closed street. All of it is quoted per route and confirmed in writing before you travel, with no surge pricing at any hour.

For festival weekends, book early and tell us where you need to be. The riverfront closures are extensive and the workable alternatives are better agreed in advance than improvised in a crowd.
