The Dallas–Fort Worth venues we run to

The biggest venue in the region sits in Arlington, halfway between two downtowns. Event nights here are about which side of it you are coming from. Dallas–Fort Worth venues are large, well supplied with parking and spread across the whole Metroplex: football and baseball in Arlington, basketball and hockey in Victory Park, the State Fair at Fair Park, rodeo at Dickies Arena, and the performing-arts houses in Dallas and Fort Worth. The constraint is scale and the freeways feeding it. We stage clear of the closures and come forward on a call rather than sitting in a queue that has not started moving.

Stadiums, arenas and convention floors. Event work in the Metroplex is shaped by scale and by distance: the biggest venue sits in Arlington, between the two downtowns, and the convention floors are spread from Downtown Dallas to Grapevine and Fort Worth. Vehicles need positioning before they are wanted, not dispatched when they are.

Culture, dining and evenings out. Evening work splits between the Dallas Arts District, Uptown and Knox-Henderson on one side and Fort Worth’s Cultural District, Sundance Square and the Stockyards on the other. These are bookings where a vehicle held by the hour beats calling for one at eleven at night.

Golf, clubs and the wider region. North Texas carries a heavy golf and club calendar, with two PGA TOUR stops and the PGA of America’s own campus in Frisco. Day hire suits these better than transfers, because a round plus lunch is never the length anyone planned for.

AT&T Stadium

Arlington · Entertainment District

Home of the Dallas Cowboys and host of the Cotton Bowl Classic, concerts and major neutral-site games. The surrounding lots are vast, which gives us genuine staging positions a short walk from the gates; the constraint is tens of thousands of cars leaving at once onto I-30 and SH 360. We agree a collection point outside the worst of it before kickoff, not after.

  • Cowboys and the Cotton Bowl
  • Real staging positions
  • I-30 and SH 360 fill

Globe Life Field

Arlington · Entertainment District

The Texas Rangers’ roofed ballpark, a few hundred yards from AT&T Stadium and sharing its roads. A night game on its own is manageable; a game and a stadium event in the same window is not, and we check both calendars when you book.

  • Texas Rangers
  • Shares roads with AT&T Stadium
  • Both calendars checked

American Airlines Center

Victory Park, Dallas

Home of the Mavericks and the Stars, at the edge of Uptown and Downtown, with the DART station and the Katy Trail pulling some of the crowd on foot. Victory Park’s streets lock up for twenty minutes after a game, and we work from an agreed point a few blocks out rather than the plaza.

  • Mavericks and Stars
  • Victory Park
  • Agreed point a few blocks out

Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center

Downtown Dallas

One of the largest convention floors in the country, on the south side of Downtown and in the course of a major redevelopment. Halls and entrances change with the work and with the show, so we confirm the hall and the door rather than the address, and time pickups against the floor closing.

  • Very large floor
  • Confirm hall and door
  • Timed to floor closing

Fair Park

East Dallas

Home of the State Fair of Texas each autumn and the Cotton Bowl stadium, with the Texas–Oklahoma game in October the biggest single day. During the fair the surrounding neighbourhood runs on closures and parking controls, and we plan those dates as an operation rather than a transfer.

  • State Fair of Texas
  • Texas–OU weekend
  • Planned as an operation

Dickies Arena

Fort Worth · Cultural District

In the Cultural District beside the Will Rogers Memorial Center, home of the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo each January and February as well as concerts through the year. Stock Show weeks change traffic across the whole west side of Fort Worth, so we plan around the schedule rather than the clock.

  • Stock Show & Rodeo
  • Will Rogers Memorial Center
  • West-side traffic

AT&T Performing Arts Center

Dallas Arts District

The Winspear Opera House and the Wyly Theatre on Flora Street, with the Meyerson Symphony Center a block away. Three houses can finish within minutes of one another, and Flora Street is not built to take the cars. We stage nearby and come to you on a call.

  • Winspear and Wyly
  • Meyerson nearby
  • Staged, not idling

Bass Performance Hall

Downtown Fort Worth · Sundance Square

Fort Worth’s principal performing-arts hall, on the edge of Sundance Square. The square’s streets are busy on performance nights and partly pedestrian, so we agree the collection corner with you rather than attempting the front door.

  • Sundance Square
  • Partly pedestrian streets
  • Agreed collection corner

The Star, Ford Center & Toyota Stadium

Frisco

The Dallas Cowboys’ headquarters and practice facility at The Star, with the indoor Ford Center hosting high-school football, concerts and events, and Toyota Stadium home to FC Dallas. The Tollway and SH 121 carry it all, and event nights here combine with the evening commute.

  • The Star
  • Ford Center
  • Toyota Stadium

Getting to the Dallas–Fort Worth venues

Door to venue, ordinary conditions. The right-hand column means an event night; a Cowboys game or Texas–OU weekend is worse than that and we plan it separately.

How Dallas–Fort Worth event work is priced

Event transfers are quoted per route, and event nights are usually better booked by the hour — a game or a performance does not end to a timetable. All of it is quoted per route and confirmed in writing before you travel, with no surge pricing at any hour.

For State Fair weekends, the Stock Show and the big Arlington dates, book early. Those days commit a large share of the vehicles in the region, and a late booking is a very different proposition from an early one.
